With only a quarter remaining of the year 2024, September couldn’t be a better time throughout the year for attending overseas exhibitions like always! Following the successful participation in the “Mining Indonesia” Exhibition less than two weeks ago, Jiuzhou Metal client specialist team has just come back from another very beneficial overseas exhibition held in Istanbul, Turkey, from the 19th to the 21st.

The exhibition was called ANKIROS, a major industrial event, takes place every two years in the fall. Since its inception in 1992, it has established itself as a leading trade fair in the world of metallurgy and the foundry industry. The event spanned three days at the spacious Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) and provided a platform for industry professionals worldwide. The exhibition covered a wide range of topics, from foundry technologies and refractory technology to heat treatment processes. It encompassed the entire supply chain of iron and steel production as well as the processing industries, showcasing a diverse array of products and technologies.

 ANKIROS attracted professionals mostly from Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Black Sea regions, the Middle East, CIS countries, East Asia, as well as Pakistan and India. The fair drew decision-makers who were eager to learn about the latest technical and economic innovations. It was a great opportunity for businesses including Jiuzhou Metal to evaluate products, meet international manufacturers, and negotiate strategic purchase agreements. Plus, the fair also served as a key platform for discussing sustainable production methods and efficient technologies aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of the metallurgy industry. Being in a very important status of Turkish exports, the steel industry was at ANKIROS in larger halls. In addition to the international suppliers of the steel industry, the leading producers of the iron and steel industry and steel service centers had the chance to exhibit their developing technologies, services and products in the special iron and steel hall.

The Jiuzhou Metal exhibition team was arranged to exhibit at Hall No.5, along with a few other colleagues in the same field from China and some nearby countries. The hall was very crowded most of the times, with hundreds of buyers from all over the world mostly seeking products including copper and aluminum items, galvanized color coating products, stainless steel and carbon steel. The Jiuzhou Metal team managed to stand out by showing their exceptional professionalism and deep product understandings throughout as we gained the trust and recognition from a number of businesses at the exhibition after a few very constructive conversations. What was more thrilling was we ended up with building connections with more than 100 clients and signing orders totaling nearly USD $230,000 on the spot!

To sum up, the ANKIROS exhibition in Turkey has allowed our company to increase its exposure to businesses from all over the world seeking the right steel products, thus giving both sides the chances to establish win-win business cooperation in the future.
