Exhibition
Focusing on building a permanent benchmark enterprise in the industry, we will continue to contribute wisdom and strength to the development of the steel industry!
It has been 5 months since Jiuzhou Metal’s last participation in exhibitions held in Russia, which was the “Steel Structures 2024” Exhibition in Moscow from June 4th to 6th this year. Since Russia is currently the largest importing country of steel products of China, Jiuzhou Metal has rarely missed exhibitions held in Russia featuring related industries. Just a few days ago, Jiuzhou Metal client specialist team just came back from another exhibition in Moscow called “Metal Expo Moscow 2024”.
This exhibition was held from October 29th to November 1st at IEC Expo centre in Moscow, Russia. It was the 30th International Industrial Exhibition in Moscow. It attracted participants from over 40 countries and included a conference program with presentations by leading experts in the steel and heavy engineering industries. It was a platform where industry professionals, companies, and experts converge to showcase the latest advancements, network, and explore business opportunities.
Central themes of the fair encompass the processing, production methods, and technologies of metals, along with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the metal industry. Exhibitors from all over the world presented a wide range of products and services, including products from the ferrous and non-ferrous industry, specialty steels, and equipment for both the mining and steel industries. Besides, some innovative technologies and latest research in metallurgy were featured as well.
Data from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade show that production of high value-added non-ferrous metals surged by 33% in the first nine months of this year compared with the same period last year. This growth is mainly driven by domestic consumption. The domestic economy's demand for steel has increased significantly in Russia, with a year-on-year increase of more than 15%, an increase of 4.5 million tons. In addition, the consumption of pipe products increased by approximately 6%, or 500,000 tons. Therefore, there could not have been a better timing for Jiuzhou Metal to gain more publicity among those engaged in related industries in Russia. And the exhibition exactly helped to do the trick in that regard for our company. The Jiuzhou Metal team managed to stand out by showing their exceptional professionalism and deep product understandings throughout as we gained the trust and recognition from numerous businesses mostly from Russia at the exhibition after a few very constructive conversations. What was more fulfilling was we got the chance to meet a few of our old clients at the exhibition who have been on a mutually-rewarding term with us for a long time. Not only did we have the time to review our old friendship, it also allowed us to have thorough discussions over their future purchase plans and the things that could generous more business opportunities in 2025, in addition to how Jiuzhou Metal could better cater to their needs and solve their problems.
Overall speaking, taking part in the “Metal Expo Moscow 2024” Exhibition has significantly improved Jiuzhou Metal's reputation and influence in the Russian market. It also suggests how critical for steel suppliers in China to always keep up with the local trends and thus making the right business decisions. As a well-reputed steel manufacturer and supplier with decades of experience in the steel industry, Jiuzhou Metal will always adhere to the principle of “Quality wins the market, integrity creates the future”, while providing top-notch steel to clients around the world!
